The project was for a new spacious and light extended kitchen and garden room, with an open-plan ground floor and a new master bedroom and en-suite shower room in the loft. The work was completed in December 2011.

…and what are you prepared to compromise on?

Its pretty tricky to get all these to line up in life…. For instance, if quality and cost are the priority, you may have to compromise on time, ie waiting for a builder who can deliver these. We have a number of clients where time was a real priority, so we advised them to negotiate a contract price with one firm of builders to save on the time taken to go out to competitive pricing. You can do if IF AND ONLY IF the builders are good…
